Strategic Value Proposition Architect - Life Insurance

To reinforce our Benelux Strategic Market Management department, we are currently looking for a Strategic Value proposition Architect. You will join our dedicated Strategic Value Proposition Life team and play a key role in the domain of Life Insurance (Investment, Pension and Protection) in Belgium.

As Strategic Value Proposition Architect, you will define new strategies for our Individual Life insurance segment. You will act as change agent, design and develop new Value Propositions and Customers journey’s and improve our market position in Life insurance.

You have a Master’s degree, preferably in Economic sciences, Commercial Engineering or equivalent by experience? Check! You have a broad market knowledge in the Individual Life Insurance (with focus on Investments branch 23, Pension, Protection products) segment in Belgium? Check! You have good knowledge of both French and Dutch, with sufficient skills in English? Check! You can define the needs of brokers and end-customers and transform them in concrete business opportunities? Check! You have relevant experience in developing new value propositions and customer journeys or in strategics consultancy in the financial sector? Check! You have good communication skills and describe yourself as analytical, solution-oriented, and data-driven? Check! Finally, you don’t shy away from discussion, you are innovative and succeed in achieving client-oriented results? Check! Double check!

Working as Value proposition Architect will give you the opportunity to:


  • Be the driver of change in the Belgium Individual Life Insurance segment
  • Lead and define new and improved strategies, design value propositions and propose strategic development
  • Look for business opportunities, identify opportunities in your target segment, design adequate propositions and achieve growth, based on customer insights or fact-based analyses
  • Contribute to international proposition development and change programs to create synergies across Allianz SE and benefit Allianz Benelux
  • Develop strategic business cases, steer and initiate improvements of the value chain and define customer needs
